Ahmedabad: Bhupendra Patel will be sworn in as the Chief Minister of Gujarat today. Around 25 cabinet ministers are also taking the oath today. BJP has won 156 out of 182 seats and 53 percent vote share. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Nitin Gadkari and other Union Ministers will attend the swearing-in ceremony in Gandhinagar.
BJP President JP Nadda, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will also attend the function.
Three big stages have been prepared for the swearing-in ceremony. Centre stage is for the members of Bhupendra Patel assembly, those who are taking oath today. The stage on the right side has been prepared for the Prime Minister, other Union Ministers and the BJP leaders etc. The stage on the left is for about 200 people who are specially invited to the ceremony.
