Ahmedabad:  AAP MLA from Gujarat will decide whether to join BJP after looking at people’s will. Bhupat Bhayani, Visavadar MLA from Junagadh district, has opined about the possibility of joining the BJP. The MLA who won with the support of Aam Aadmi ticket said that the opinion of the people will be considered on this issue. He said this while giving an interview with the national media.

“I am the people’s representative of a place where there are many farmers. I have to solve their problems related to irrigation and other difficulties also have to be found and solved. But being in the opposition, nothing can be done for the people,” said Bhupat Bhayani.

He said that the people of Gujarat have given a record result to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP.  The AAP MLA added that he was earlier with the BJP and had a healthy relation with the leaders too. Bhupat Bhayani, who was earlier a BJP MLA, recently joined the Aam Aadmi Party.

His work as a BJP MLA greatly influenced his victory from Visavadar constituency in Junagadh district. He added that people know him. He said that India is a democratic country and it is his right to work for the people and the anti-defection law will not affect him.

Meanwhile, apart from Bhupat Bhayani, three independent MLAs from Bayad, Dhanera and Vagodia will announce their support for the BJP.
