Thiruvananthapuram: The Pinarayi government is all set to sabotage the cabinet proceedings of the assembly session over the rivalry with Governor Arif Muhammad Khan. The government has decided to skip the policy announcement and present the budget session. The government will not inform the governor that the legislative session has been dissolved. The government has also decided to hold another meeting as a continuation of yesterday’s session.
In today’s cabinet meeting, the government decided to intensify the fight with the governor. The rule is that when the session is over, the governor should be informed about it through the speaker. But this step will be avoided intentionally.
Yesterday, the Speaker had announced that the house was adjourned for an indefinite period. But the cabinet has decided to continue the seventh session of the 15th Kerala Legislative Assembly. The meeting will continue in January. In this, the budget will be presented by postponing the policy announcement. In that case, the policy announcement will be at the end of the session.
