Palakkad: Another Popular Front terrorist has been arrested in connection with the killing of RSS former physical trainer Sreenivasan. The arrested is PFI former area reporter Mohammed Shefeeq.
Recently, the investigation team has submitted the second charge sheet. Narcotic cell DySP M Anil Kumar submitted the charge sheet against 18 accused before the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court.
There are 185 witnesses in the case. 270 pieces of evidence were produced along with the 1950 page charge sheet. There are 44 accused in the case and 41 criminals have been arrested so far. DySP M Anil Kumar informed that three of the accused are in Gulf countries now. The third phase of investigation has already started.
