New Delhi: As per the agreement with France, the 36th Rafale fighter jet has finally arrived in India. The information was shared by the Indian Air Force on Twitter with the caption “The Pack is Complete’’. As per the deal, 35 Rafale fighter jets have arrived in India.The 36th Rafale aircraft arrived on Thursday, as informed by the Defense Department earlier.

The Rafales have been deployed in Ambala in Haryana and Hasimara in West Bengal. The first batch of Rafale aircraft arrived in India on July 29, 2020. In 2016, India signed an agreement with France in this regard. It is reported that France has handed over the fighter jets on a contract worth Rs 60,000 crore.
Rafale are fighter jets equipped with Meteor missiles. The radar-guided Meteor missile is one of the best air to air missiles in the world today.
