James Cameron’s ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’ has been a huge hit in India. 20 crores from advance bookings on the first day. IMAX screens in Mumbai and Bengaluru are reportedly charging Rs 2,500 to Rs 3,000 per ticket.
The film is getting huge acceptance in Kerala too. Avatar first part holds the record as the highest grossing film in the history of world cinema. The Way of Water is expected to beat this record after 13 years. Trade analysts estimate that Avatar 2 will collect between 40 and 50 crores on the first day in India.
The film stars Kate Winslet along with Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Stephen Lang and Sigourney Weaver. After 23 long years, Kate Winslet is doing a movie with Cameron.
