3.64 lakh rupees found in the pocket of a deaf beggar

Lucknow: The police who rescued the beggar who was in an accident saw a shocking sight. Cops recovered lakhs of rupees from the pocket of a deaf beggar. The incident took place in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh.

He was hit by a bike on Saturday. Then the police arrived and admitted him to the hospital. Meanwhile, the money was found when the beggar’s pocket was checked.

3.64 lakh was recovered from him. All were 2000 notes. Sharif Baunk is a 50-year-old from Pipraich, UP. He is still undergoing treatment at BRD Medical College due to his leg injury. 3.64 lakh rupees is kept with the police until the source of the money is ascertained.
