Thiruvananthapuram: Low pressure again in Bay of Bengal. As a result of this, the state will receive heavy rains in the coming days, according to the Meteorological Centre. Meanwhile, no rain warning has been issued in the districts.
A strong low pressure has formed over South-West Bay of Bengal. During the next 48 hours, it will move northwest and become a very intense low pressure near the Sri Lankan coast. Then it may move towards the Comoros coast through Sri Lanka, the Meteorological Centre says.
The Meteorological Centre informs that there will be widespread rain in Kerala for the next five days. Even though no rain warning has been issued, the State Disaster Management Authority says to be cautious in the wake of Cyclone Mandaus.
