Kannur: The main accused in the case of hacking a young man in a dispute related to the World Cup football final in Palliyamoola has surrendered. Vinod, a resident of Palliyammoola was absconding and appeared in the Kannur Magistrate’s Court in the morning with his lawyer.
Anurag, a native of Palliyammula, was attacked while watching the World Cup final. While enjoying the match on the big screen, an argument broke out between the team led by Anurag and Vinod. This later resulted in conflict. Besides Anurag, Adarsh, Alex and Nakul were also injured in the clash. Police had earlier arrested 6 accused in this case.
