Srinagar: A huge collection of weapons found in Kashmir’s Baramulla. The arms and ammunition were recovered from Hatlanga in Uri sector of Baramulla district.
Based on secret information, the Baramulla police and three army personnel searched the area. Subsequently eight AKS 74U with 24 magazines and 560 bullets and 12 pistols with 24 magazines and 244 bullets were recovered. 14 grenades have also been recovered. Police also seized 81 balloons with the Pakistan flag on them. There were also five bags in the collection with a tag of ‘Made in Pakistan’.
A case has been registered at Uri police station in connection with the incident. Police said the investigation is going on.
