Grandfather arrested in 19-year-old suicide incident; Has been sexually assaulted since the age of 14, says in the suicide note

Kozhikode: A 62-year-old grandfather has been arrested in connection with the suicide of a 19-year-old college student. A second year BCom student from Koyilandy hanged herself on December 17.

The girl’s suicide note was found during the search. In this, the girl accuses her grandfather of torturing her since the age of fourteen. Later, the father of the girl’s mother was arrested. At the beginning of the investigation, the relatives said that there was no suicide note. The letter was found during a detailed investigation. The investigation was headed by CI N. Sunil Kumar. During interrogation, the accused confessed to the crime. He was produced before the court and remanded.
