New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that India will become one of the largest economies in the world by 2022. He said that the year 2022 was a very important year for the country. This year India celebrated its 75th independence and the beginning of Amrita Kalam. He also stated that 2022 is the year recorded in history. He was addressing the last Mann Ki Baat event of the year.
The Prime Minister mentioned that the country has become the fifth largest economy in the world. An unprecedented progress has been made in the field of Corona vaccine production. Modi pointed out that more than 220 crores were produced for vaccines and exports crossed 400 billions.
He also said that the commissioning of the country’s first indigenous aircraft carrier during the Amrita Kalam was indicative of India’s confidence. He said that this shows the expertise in the field of engineering. He also stated that ‘Make in India’ campaigns will be strengthened by focusing on India’s self-sufficiency. The Prime Minister appealed to the people to be cautious and take precautionary measures in view of the increasing number of corona cases in various countries.
