Kozhikode: The Korean national has complained that she was sexually tortured at the Karipur airport. Kozhikode Town police have filed a case over this revelation and the probe is underway. The case was taken as the sexual abuse was confirmed during the medical examination.
The woman revealed about the abuse to the doctor of The Medical College Hospital, Kozhikode. Her secret statement was recorded with the help of a translator. It is not yet known that as who had molested the woman. As per the woman’s complaint, she was tortured at the airport. However, police have decided to conduct a detailed investigation.
CISF team detained the Korean national recently for travelling without required documents. She was later handed over to the Town police. She was brought to the medical college for check up and then the woman explained about the sexual torture to the doctor.
