Coimbatore: The National Investigation Agency has recorded the arrest of two of the accused in the Coimbatore blast case. The arrested are Sanofar Ali and Sheikh Hadayathulla. Tamil Nadu police had arrested them on 23 December.
Recently, the investigation team had brought four culprits to the spot where the incident took place. Mohammd Asharuddin, Mohammed Riyas, Firoz Ismail and Nawas were brought to Kottamedu area of Ukkadam in Coimbatore. More details of the blast was collected from the accused.
The incident took place at 4.30 am on 23 October , in which LPG cylinder was exploded in a Maruti 800 car. Following the blast, it was revealed that Jamesha Mubeen, who was killed in the blast, had connections with the IS. police found that Jamesha Mubeen had conspired the mass destruction of Hindu religious symbols and monuments, to create horrified atmosphere and also, to conduct suicide bomb attacks.
