Kochi: More than three kilogram of cannabis candies that brought to small shops in Kochi have been seized. Uttar Pradesh native Vikas and Assam native Saddam were arrested by the police. Thirty packets of 40 candies each were seized. The drugs were distributed in the parking ground near the shop.
Such shops were under surveillance for a long time after it was reported that the sale of cannabis candy was widespread in Kochi. Such vendors used to give these candies to school and college students.
The police caught both of them while they were taking the cannabis for distribution on a scooter. The candies were sold to students at the rate of 10 rupees.
