Chennai: Malayalee arrested in connection with bomb threat in Chennai Egmore-Guruvayur Express train. Satish Babu (35), a resident of Velachery, was arrested. He sent a fake message that a bomb had been placed in the train to scare his wife.
The incident took place on 26th at 8 pm. When the train reached Chennai Tambaram railway station, a threatening message was received on the phone in the police control room. The bomb squad searched but found nothing. In case of threat, the passengers were brought to Chennai by another train. It was also indicated that it was a fake message.
During the subsequent investigation, Satish Babu was arrested. He has admitted to the police that the bomb threat was meant to scare his wife who was going to Chennai in the same train.
