Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir government took UP model action against terrorists . A special operation team raided the house of Hizbul Mujahideen commander Amir Khan. The house in Pahalgam in Anantnag district was demolished.
The district administration clarified that Amir Khan had built the house by encroaching on government land. The demolition process was under the supervision of the District Magistrate. The mission team explained that such encroachments will be detected and further action will be taken.
Ghulam Nabi Khan, popularly known as Amir Khan, is a key figure in the Hizbul leadership. Amir Khan, who crossed into Pakistan-occupied Kashmir in the 90s, is the mastermind of many operations carried out by the terrorist group in the valley.
