New Delhi: Muslim Political Forum criticizes Popular Front. National convener Shuhaib Khazmi said that the Popular Front is targeted at the educated Muslim youth of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
The popular front is misleading the students and youths who attend schools and madrassas. Since the organization was banned by the central government, the Popular Front is operating under modern and different names. India is a peaceful country. Muslims have been living here for years. Shuhaib Qazmi also said that the students should be careful about organizations like PFI.
Last day, the NIA raided 56 places in Kerala simultaneously. The raid was on the house of Popular Front leaders and activists. Then a local PFI leader from Edavanakkad named Muhammad Mubarak, who is also a lawyer, was arrested. Mubarak was a member of the hit squad formed by the Popular Front to assassinate leaders of other parties. Deadly weapons were kept inside a badminton racket in his house. Mubarak’s arrest was recorded after being interrogated for 20 hours.
