Will Rahul Gandhi apologise for his fake comments on demonetisation? Challenges Ravishankar Prasad

New Delhi: BJP MP Ravishankar Prasad challenged Congress leader Rahul Gandhi following the Supreme Court verdict upholding demonetisation. He asked will Rahul apologise for his fake comments on demonetisation now.  He asked this while interacting with the media.

The demonetisation by the Modi Government in 2016 had actually curbed the funding of terrorism. This was actually a huge backlash to the terrorist organisations. The demonetisation was a decision which supported nationalism. The Supreme Court has again supported nationalism by upholding demonetisation. Rahul Gandhi, who made so many fake allegations against demonetisation should now become ready to apologise, said Ravi Shankar. He added that Rahul Gandhi criticised this even in the press conference held at foreign countries.

The constitution bench headed by Justice Gavai upheld the Central Government’s decision to ban the currency notes. All four members of the five- member bench upheld the Centre’s decision. The court also clarified that the decision was taken according to the instruction of the Reserve Bank.
