Kozhikode: The NIA has intensified its search for the Popular Front terrorists in connection with the murder of Yuva Morcha leader Praveen Nettaru in Bellary, South Karnataka. The National Investigation Agency has announced a reward for those who help give details about the terrorists. Photographs of PFI terrorists along with their addresses have been displayed in various parts of the city. Notices were also displayed at various police stations.
Those who provide information about S. Muhammad Mustafa alias Mustafa Paicher, a native of Sullia in South Kannada and MH Thoufal, Madikkeri will get a reward of Rs 5 lakh. A reward of Rs 2 lakh will also be given to those who provide information about Umar alias Umar Farooq, Painter Siddique alias Gujiri Siddique.
Praveen Nettaru was Yuva Morcha district secretary in Bellary. On July 26, at around 8.30 pm, Praveen was hacked to death by attackers who came on a bike while he was returning from closing his own chicken shop.
