Bengal: Vandalists hurled stones at the new Vande Bharat train which started from West Bengal last day. Vande Bharat Express, which was going to Howrah, was broken by some anti-social people. Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off India’s seventh Vande Bharat Express from Howrah to New Jalpaiguri Junction four days ago.
The train was pelted with stones last day. The incident happened just before reaching Malda after passing Kumarganj station. The passengers said that the incident was shocking. The glass was broken but none of the passengers on the train were injured at the time of the incident. Railway officials said that a detailed investigation will be conducted over the incident.
