Hyderabad: Communist terrorist Madhvi Hidma was killed after an encounter on the Thelungana – Chattisgarh border. The terrorist was killed by the Cobra battalion of the CRPF. The police officials have informed that the programmes to curb the terrorists are being conducted. The terrorists were killed after hours’ long encounter. Police confirmed that he was active in the terrorist activities that took place in the border village.
Hidma became active in terrorist activities in 1996. He was the prime accused in the murder of 22 security officers in 2021. The government announced a reward of Rs 45 lakhs for those who find Hidma. It is reported that he was involved in the Bijpur and Sukma attacks. As per reports, 6 soldiers were injured in the encounter to subdue terrorist. Official reports on the case are yet to come.
