New Delhi: Many flights from the national capital have been delayed due to the heavy fog in Delhi. Six flights scheduled to take off from the Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi, were delayed due to the extreme weather.
Delhi-San Francisco, Delhi-Chandigarh-Kullu, Delhi-Jaipur, Delhi-Dharamsala-Chandigarh, Delhi-Shimla-Dharamshala and Delhi-Dehradun flights were affected by the heavy fog.
The minimum temperature in Safdarjung is 5.9 degrees Celsius, today. The Meteorological department also recorded that the longest visibility from Palam Colony is 100 meters. Delhi has been experiencing severe winter since the beginning of this year. The states of Punjab, Rajasthan, Jammu and Kashmir, Haryana, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Tripura are also experiencing severe winter.
