Kochi: Minister of State for External Affairs and Parliamentary Affairs V Muraleedharan has asked whether Kerala is taking more loans to pay honorarium to KV Thomas. “Finance Minister has been saying that Kerala is not facing financial crisis but he should now explain the real financial situation of the state,” he said.
“The Centre is giving whatever Kerala deserves. The central government will not grant permission to the move to push Kerala into a situation similar to Sri Lanka”, stated V Muraleedharan.
“Wild tusker and wild gaur are attacking the people. The Centre has paid crores to resist the attack of wild animals, but the state government has not fully utilized it”, he added.
It is pointless to blame the Centre for the delay in welfare pension. The state government should explain the financial situation to the central government rather than addressing it in a press conference. The Chief Minister boycotted the NITI Aayog meeting and he should have directly asked the Prime Minister’s help in the meeting, said V Muraleedharan.
