Kannur: VD Jinto, a truck driver from Poolakutty, was stabbed to death in front of the Kannur SP office at 3 a.m. today. There are indications that the murder took place during an attempted robbery. The police found that a couple of people were also involved in the murder, and they have arrested one person in regard to this.
Jinto was found dead at the old bus stand in Kannur. There were many wounds on his body. According to the locals, he had come with a shipment to be unloaded at the market. He later fell into the road while running after being stabbed. The eyewitness had said that he died as soon as he fell.
