Kottayam: In a significant move, Robin George, who operated a cannabis distribution network under the cover of a dog training center, has been arrested. He was arrested from Tamil Nadu. The police obtained information about his whereabouts in Tamil Nadu through the interrogation of Robin George’s father. To locate him, the police formed four teams and conducted an extensive investigation.
The police conducted a raid based on information that Robin was selling cannabis under the guise of a training center called Delta K9. During the operation, 17.8 kg of cannabis was seized. Upon encountering the police, the accused released the dogs and managed to escape by jumping over a wall.
Based on the information that he was evading capture near Kudamalur, the police rushed to the scene but were unable to apprehend Robin. Two other individuals who trespassed on the police-guarded center have also been taken into police custody. An investigation will be conducted to determine whether more individuals are involved in the case. The police have discovered that Robin had been selling cannabis from this place for some time. His tactic was to release the dogs when the excise team arrived. The anti-narcotics squad and the police had been conducting an investigation for several days. After obtaining court permission, the inspection was carried out.
