Thiruvananthapuram: The gold price in Kerala has remained steady, with no changes reported today. The market price of one sovereign of gold stands at Rs 42,080, marking the lowest rate observed in the last six months. Over the course of a week, the price of gold has seen a significant decline, decreasing by Rs 1,880. This marks the first instance of such a substantial drop in gold prices since March 9.
As of today, the market price for one gram of 22-carat gold is recorded at Rs 5,260, while one gram of 18-carat gold is valued at Rs 4,348.
The price of silver in the state has remained constant. Over the past week, silver rates have experienced a modest decrease of Rs 4. Currently, the market price for silver stands at Rs. 74 per gram. The hallmark silver price also maintains its stability at Rs. 103 per gram.
