Palakkad: In a concerning incident that unfolded on the Palakkad-Tiruchendur passenger train in Tamil Nadu, four Malayali youth have been arrested for raising toy guns and threatening fellow passengers. The individuals arrested have been identified as Amin Sharifa (19) from Malappuram, Abdul Rafeeq (24) from Kannur, Jebalshah (18) from Palakkad, and Muhammad Jinnan (20) from Kasaragod.
Eyewitnesses and passengers narrated that the young men boarded the train and raised the toy guns, creating an atmosphere of fear and intimidation. Witnesses described how the individuals pretended to load the toy guns and threatened to shoot passengers on the train.
One of the passengers contacted the railway control room to report the incident. After that, when the train reached the Kodaikanal Road railway station, approximately 20 policemen surrounded the platform and took the four men into custody. Police authorities have revealed that the detained youths had planned to travel to Ramanathapuram from Madurai, and they are interrogating them in the incident.
