Thiruvananthapuram: Tensions flared at Thiruvananthapuram Nursing College as a heated verbal dispute unfolded between the college principal and members of the Students’ Federation of India (SFI). SFI activists visited the principal’s office to demand security measures like CCTV cameras in the women’s hostel and finally made threats.
The incident, which occurred last Friday, intensified when SFI activists implied that they would have the final say on whether the principal should continue in her role. In response, the principal asserted that she would not be swayed by threats. The principal also said that she had no need to listen to their words.
