Despite facing injuries, HS Prannoy displayed exceptional skill to reach the semi-finals. In the semi-final showdown, he faced the Chinese player Li Shi Feng. Despite his valiant effort, Prannoy was satisfied with a bronze medal in the match with a final score of 21-16, 21-09.
