Thrissur: The special court in Kaloor is set to hear the bail application of CPI (M) leader PR Aravindakshan and CK Jilse today, who are accused in the Karuvannur cooperative bank scam case. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has conducted extensive interrogations of both individuals over a period of three days.
During the interrogation, PR Aravindakshan admitted that the audio recordings seized from the phone of the first defendant in the case, P Satish Kumar, belonged to him. Further questioning is scheduled for today to find out more details.
Haridasan Nambiar, the Managing Director of Kerala State Rubber Co Operative Limited (RUBCO), who was present on the previous day, has been summoned to appear today. Karuvannur Bank had a business partnership with Rubco. The additional documents demanded by ED will also be submitted today. The cooperative department has also submitted the audit documents of the bank.
