Thiruvananthapuram: The Indian Navy has implemented strict security measures along the Vizhinjam coast. Two Indian Navy warships have been deployed to safeguard the Chinese ship carrying cranes. Three cranes had reached the Vizhinjam shore.
Despite a grand welcome upon its initial arrival, the process of unloading the cranes has been delayed. The reason for this delay is due to the fact that the Chinese nationals in Zhen Hua 15 did not get immigration clearance. Out of the 12 individuals on the ship, the central government has granted permission to only three highly skilled individuals.
The crane’s unloading operations have commenced with the assistance of 60 experts from Shanghai PMC who arrived from Mumbai, along with the three individuals who arrived on the ship.
