Srinagar: Manoj Sinha, the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi yesterday (Oct 24). The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) announced the meeting between Manoj Sinha, the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi and shared pictures of their encounter.
In a social media post, the PMO office stated, “Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha, met Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” along with a photo.

According to a national media report, during the meeting, the Lieutenant Governor briefed the Prime Minister on the various initiatives of the administration aimed at the comprehensive development of all communities in Jammu and Kashmir, as well as the overall security situation.
The day before, Manoj Sinha had stated that the security situation in the Union Territory has significantly improved, and terrorism is on the decline. He also announced that land in the valley would be made available to employees of the Kashmiri Pandit community at reduced rates to fulfill their housing needs. This announcement was made during his address to Kashmiri Pandits at the Mata Bhadrakali temple located on the outskirts of Jammu city.
