Alappuzha: Former minister G. Sudhakaran on Thursday alleged that those who work closely with public are unable to come to power and manipulation is increasing in politics. The CPI(M) leaders remarks came while speaking at a program held at Alappuzha SD College on the occasion of Kerala formation day. It is a bad approach, including in student politics in Kerala. He also pointed out that the practice of misbehaving with opponents is emerging in student politics.
Earlier, when the state government criticized the ED’s intervention in the Karuvannur Cooperative Bank fraud case, G. Sudhakaran had a different opinion. He said that no matter what anyone thinks in Karuvannur, the ED cannot be stopped and it is necessary to convince the facts in cooperation with the investigating agency. He added that the ED is an instrument of the Constitution and they have the power to intervene.
