The visit of the Bhutanese King to Bharat is expected to strengthen the bilateral relationship between the two nations. During his visit, King Wangchuck is scheduled to visit the renowned Kamakhya temple in Guwahati and engage with the Bhutanese diaspora in the city later in the afternoon. He will also have a meeting with the Chief Minister. Additionally, several cultural programs and dinners are planned in the capital, under the guidance of Assam Governor Gulab Chand Kataria.
The King will visit the Kaziranga National Park and is set to depart from Jorhat to New Delhi on November 5. During his visit to Bharat, the Bhutanese King will meet with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, as announced by the Ministry of External Affairs. Further, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar and senior Indian government officials will have official interactions with the Bhutanese King.
