Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has rejected the demand of KB Ganeshkumar, who is slated for a ministerial appointment alongside Kadannappalli Ramachandran. CM Pinarayi Vijayan informed that the film department will not be allocated to Ganesh Kumar. Instead, Ganesh Kumar will only be assigned to the Transport Department. Additionally, the office currently used by Antony Raju will be transferred to Ganesh Kumar.
Kerala Congress (B) had sent a letter requesting the film department for Ganesh Kumar, but the Chief Minister responded negatively. Kadannappalli has been appointed as the Minister of Ports and Archaeology, a post previously held by Ahamed Devarkovil. This office was also utilized by Kadannappalli during the first Pinarayi government.
The swearing-in ceremony for Ganesh Kumar and Kadannappalli Ramachandran will take place at Raj Bhavan at 4 pm, where the Governor will administer the oath. The event will be held in a specially arranged canopy on the Raj Bhavan premises.
