Idukki: Amidst the Student’s Federation of India’s (SFI) protest in Idukki against Governor Arif Mohammed Khan, the Governor reiterated his fearlessness, stating he’s unafraid and said that he is willing to walk anywhere in Kochi if needed. Khan stated, ‘I never felt threatened. I am 72 years old. Didn’t you see me walking on the road in Kozhikode? There is no threat to me. I can come anywhere in Kochi if you want. Where is the threat?’
Simultaneously, the CPI(M) staged a protest in Thodupuzha with obscene slogans against the governor. Activists chanted vulgar words and staged a sit-in protest. Tony Kuriakos, district secretary of SFI, vowed a robust protest against the Governor, emphasizing the student community’s discontent.
