New Delhi: Malayalee long jump star M Sreeshankar was honoured with the prestigious Arjuna Award by President Droupadi Murmu, which stands as the country’s second-highest sports honour. Athletes are selected for the Arjuna Award based on their exceptional achievements in sports, and this time, Sreeshankar is the sole representative from Kerala to receive this recognition. His outstanding performances at the Hangzhou Asian Games, World Athletics Championship, and Commonwealth Games paved the way for his selection for the Arjuna Award.
