Thiruvananthapuram: CPI(M) leader G Sudhakaran has called for the continuation of the investigation into the Karuvannur Cooperative Bank fraud case by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). In an interview with a private channel, Sudhakaran asserted that the ED’s investigation should proceed unhindered, emphasizing that no one has the authority to influence it.
“I managed the co-operation department. There is no dispute that a serious fraud has taken place in Karuvannur. Let there be an investigation into the allegations against former minister A.C.Moideen and minister P Rajeev”, the former minister said.
Meanwhile, Sudhakaran also clarified about criticizing writer MT Vasudevan Nair. Sudhakaran denied his statement ‘MT need not teach anyone’ and noted that MT has remained silent on various issues. Sudhakaran had also said that some writers are putting a show by relying on MT.
