Thiruvananthapuram: Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan stated that the Prime Minister places significant importance on the development of Kerala. Whether it is in the realm of roads, ports, or metro, the Prime Minister is prioritizing Kerala’s development. A substantial amount of Rs 1,15,000 crores has been allocated by the central government for various development activities in Kerala. Chouhan shared these insights during a media interaction.
Chouhan expressed confidence that the BJP will make big gains in Kerala during the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. To fortify the party’s efforts, he emphasized the need to strengthen activities at the grassroots level, particularly by focusing on booths in Kerala. Chouhan highlighted that interacting with the beneficiaries of central government schemes would further enhance the party’s influence and strength in the region.
Chouhan also mentioned that the BJP is a party committed to serving all sections of society, a sentiment reiterated by the Prime Minister. According to Chouhan, from the BJP’s perspective, there are four castes in the country, which he specified as the poor, youth, women, and farmers.
