Ernakulam: Union Minister of State for External Affairs V Muraleedharan has said that CM Pinarayi Vijayan does not deserve to be the Home Minister and the Malayalees are ashamed about Pinarayi continuing to hold the position of home ministry. He was talking to media persons after participating in a seminar held in Kochi in connection with the BMS (Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh) state conference.

“Despite attempts by the protesters to stop and endanger the Governor, the state police stood by and did not take action. Security was provided as per the Governor’s request. The reason for this antagonism is that the governor did not support the nepotism and corruption of the state government. There is no objection to shouting slogans from the roadside, but why do they rush towards the vehicle?,” asked Muraleedharan.

Muraleedharan mocked that the the ‘life-saving operation’ by the Chief Minister’s security forces did not occur. The protesters were there under police protection. The Union Minister also addressed the monthly payment issue, stating that VD Satheesan did not say anything on the monthly payment issue in the Assembly. A few Congress leaders will be sent to Delhi. Then CPI(M) will rule here. That is what is happening. Muraleedharan added that both LDF and UDF are united.
