New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah is set to embark on a two-day visit to Tamil Nadu, commencing from Thursday, where he will conduct four road shows and one public meeting. As the Lok Sabha elections draw near, Amit Shah’s visit to Tamil Nadu holds strategic significance in the state’s political landscape.Scheduled to begin on Thursday, Amit Shah’s itinerary highlights the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) concerted efforts to strengthen its presence and influence in Tamil Nadu.
Amit Shah will launch his campaign with a road show in Theni town on Thursday afternoon, followed by a public meeting in Madurai later in the evening. His agenda also includes a significant visit to the Meenakshi Amman Temple in Madurai.
The following day will witness a series of political engagements, with Amit Shah gearing up for three consecutive road shows from Friday morning till afternoon. These road shows are strategically planned across diverse locations in Tamil Nadu.
All 39 seats of Tamil Nadu will vote in the first phase of the general elections on April 19, with vote counting scheduled for June 4 along with other phases.
