New Delhi: The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) said that it welcomed the decision to conduct CUET-UG 2024 exams offline for thirteen subjects. The student organization also demanded that the National Testing Agency (NTA) must ensure transparency, error-free question papers and successful management of the examination papers.
The thirteen subjects include Economics, Business Economics, Accountancy/Bookkeeping, Biology/Biotechnology, Business Studies, Chemistry, Computer Science, English, General Test, Hindi, History, Mathematics, Physics, and Political Science. ABVP said that the decision to conduct exams for these subjects in a single shift will benefit students by addressing concerns about potential variations in difficulty levels across different exam slots for the same subject.
The student organization also demanded that the NTA consider students’ convenience by providing exam centers close to their residences. Special attention must be given to transparency, error-free question papers and the successful management of the examination process to make the offline exams run smoothly.
ABVP National General Secretary, Shri Yagywalkya Shukla, stated, “The decision to hold offline exams for subjects with over one lakh applications will greatly facilitate students. ABVP extends its best wishes to all CUET-UG candidates for their success in the exams and demands NTA to consider all aspects of all the stakeholders’ interest to facilitate students in its decision-making for the arrangements of the examinations.”
