New Delhi: After a long wait about his joining the saffron party former MP and TRS leader G Vivek joined BJP on Friday. Vivek was elected to the 15th Lok Sabha from Pedappalli constituency.
The leader along with BJP state president Laxman flew down to Delhi and joined the party in the presence of the party national chief and Union Minister Amit Shah, Union Minister Kishan Reddy, BJP national secretary Ram Madhav and MP Dharmapuri Arvind.
Vivek was a member of the coal and steel committee. Formerly, he was an advisor to the State Government of Telangana for Inter-State relations.
Vivek is the Vice-Chairman of Visaka industries. He was recently removed as President of Hyderabad Cricket Association due to conflict of interest.
