New Delhi: Union Defence Minister, Rajnath Singh, while hitting out at Pakistan for trying to internationalize the Kashmir issue has made it clear that India will now discuss about Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) only. The Minister was speaking at a rally in Himachal Pradesh when he outlined India’s policy.
Rajnath Singh said, “Article 370 was abrogated in J&K for its development. Our neighbour is knocking the doors of the international community saying India made a mistake. Talks with Pakistan will be held only if it stops supporting terror. If talks are held with Pakistan, it will now be on PoK.”
India has maintained all along that talks with Pakistan is possible only if it stops supporting terrorism in the valley. Rajnath Singh has reiterated India’s position when it comes to dialogue with the Islamic country.
Further, the Defence Minister also exposed Pakistani authorities’ lie that Balakot attack was not successful and that the Indian Air Force had only struck some pine trees.
He said, “Few days ago, prime minister of Pakistan said that India is planning to take an action bigger than Balakot. It means that Pakistan PM acknowledges what India did in Balakot.”
Imran Khan had unintentionally spoke about the Indian Air Force attack on Balakot that killed over 250 hardcore terrorists and their handlers.
Since India abrogated Article 370, Pakistan has been making loud noises and knocking the doors of all major global powers to support their cause. However, India’s diplomatic clout blocked their attempts and nations across the world have supported India’s decision to curb the special status given to Kashmir. Interestingly, Muslim countries have also stood with India when it comes to Kashmir.
Pakistan’s bid to internationalize the situation has failed miserably. Their attempts at picturing India has an aggressor nation has backfire when pro Balochistan activists exposing the Pakistan cruelty on the Baloch people.
