Bengaluru: Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa today expanded the Cabinet and 17 MLAs took oath as ministers at Raj Bhavan. The list includes 15 MLAs, one member of MLC and Kota Srinivas Poojari. Karnataka Governor Vajubhai Vala administered the oath.
Yediyurappa assumed office on July 26 and he won the floor test on July 29. Yediyurappa had earlier sought permission for the expansion of Cabinet from BJP national president Amit Shah.
Yediyurappa came to power after the collapse of Congress- JDS government.
