Chennai: A shocking intelligence report has warned that six to eight terrorists of the dreaded Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorists has entered Tamil Nadu via Sri Lanka. Reports say that their objective is to target Tamil Nadu and other areas.

The report also says that Tamil Nadu has been selected because the security measurement in the state is very poor.

Following the intelligence input, Coimbatore has been put on high alert and Commissioners of Coimbatore and Chennai are on alert for the terrorists. Patrolling and security checks have been beefed up in many areas.

The report says that the incoming terrorists include one Pakistani national and the rest are Sri Lankans. The report further says that the LeT operatives are disguised as Hindus with tilak smeared on their foreheads.

Pakistan is trying every trick in the book to intensify terrorist attacks in India following the Central government’s decision to abrogate Article 370. They have been encouraging terrorist organizations to attack India and inflict maximum damage. However, India has thwarted the terrorists efforts till now. Kashmir has been more or less silent after the special status was taken away. There has been no major Muslim terror attacks in India since the BJP government assumed power.

The terrorists might be trying to target other areas where the security is weak. South India has been recently found to be a safe haven for terrorists. Even Kerala is a soft target with weak monitoring of terrorists movements by the state police. The government have actively supported fundamental elements in the state which has led to terrorist activities thriving in the Southern state.
