Srinagar: Today, 575 young brave hearts were inducted into the Indian Army from Jammu and Kashmir after completing their one year rigorous training course.

They were inducted in a proud parade held at the Bana Singh Parade ground of JAKLI Regiment Center in Srinagar. The passing out parade was reviewed by Adjutant General Lt. Gen Ashwani Kumar, civil and military officers and also by the parents and relatives of the newly inducted soldiers.

The 575 soldiers who represents every religious community of Jammu and Kashmir marched in unison and sang the regimental song ‘Balidanam Veer Lakshnam’. The young men from Jammu and Kashmir joining the Indian Army is a hope that the common people in the state wants to be part of the Indian mainland.

The Adjutant General congratulated the soldiers for their parade and talked about the selfless service to the nation. He also praised the contribution of the parents in motivating their children to join the Indian Army.

After the government scrapped Article 370 and integrated Jammu and Kashmir fully with India, the Pakistani military is trying to incite violence and separatism in the state. However, Indian security forces are maintaining peace in the valley and thwarting every attempts by the Pakistani based terrorist to wreck havoc in Jammu and Kashmir.

Article 370 had impeded any development to the state and the people were left in isolation away from the mainstream political and economic life of India. The result of Article 370 was that generations of Kashmiri youths were radicalized and any hope of a better life destroyed.

The BJP led government had scrapped the article and is trying to bring the Kashmiri people more closer to India. Though, Pakistan raised a hue and cry their diplomatic moves with global countries has met with a dead end.
