Ranchi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday affirmed that his government has taken several steps to rein in corruption, bring about development and root out terrorism, in the first 100 days of NDA 2.0.
“We pledge to rein in corruption, fight for the rights of Muslim sisters and root out terrorism. Some corrupt people have already been put in their place (jail),” he said while addressing a public meeting in Jharkhand.
Modi launched a slew of development projects and schemes on Thursday in election-bound Jharkhand. ” My government has launched a slew of development projects in the first 100 days. However, a lot still needs to be done. Picture abhi baaki hai,” he said.
Prime Minister launched the ‘ Pradhan Mantri Laghu Vyaparik Mandhan Yojana’ and ‘Swarojgar’ pension schemes, inaugurated the new building of the Jharkhand Assembly and a multi-modal terminal at Sahibganj.
Talking about the two newly formed Union Territories, Modi said, “We aim to bring about development in J&K and Ladakh, the work for which has begun in the first 100 days of NDA 2.0.”
“Our government is working towards providing social security to each and every Indian,” Modi added.
