Surat: While addressing an event of Bharatiya Veer Jawan Trust in Surat, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Saturday gave a stern warning to Pakistan that it will break into several parts if it does not cease supporting terrorism.
“If Pakistan does not stop supporting terrorism then it cannot be prevented from disintegration in the future,” Singh said.
Singh warned Pakistan that if its people cross the Line of Control, the Indian Army will not let them return.
Reiterating India’s firm stand on Jammu and Kashmir, Singh said, ” I have clearly stated that if talks place between India and Pakistan, then it will be on Pakistan Occupied Kashmir.”
“India was divided on the basis of religion during the partition and it was made possible by those who wanted Pakistan and had the ideology to do politics of religion. Unlike Pakistan, India does not believe in the politics of caste and religion. Instead, it believes in humanity and justice,” the defence minister added.
Taking a dig at Pakistan, Singh said, ” Pakistan does not like the development and progress of India. Pakistan could not digest the abrogation of Article 370. It went to the United Nations and started lying to deceive the international organisation. Pakistan is talking about the Human Rights Commission, at a time when it cannot protect minorities in its own land.”
Bharatiya Veer Jawan Trust in Surat felicitated the families of soldiers who lost their lives during the line of duty.
